On Saturday we drove up to Missouri to spend some time in the beautiful outdoors. It has been so hot that there isn't much to do outside unless it involves water. So we rented a paddle boat for a couple of hours and took our kids all over the Elk River. We saw herons and turtles and had a great time swimming in the cool water with all the fish!
