So last year, a group of girlfriends from church ran a 5K to benefit the local Children's Shelter. There were probably a dozen or less of us who did it. This year there were about 30 women from the ward who came out and either ran or walked the 5 or 10K race. It was a lot of fun. We all had matching pink t-shirts that said "Sole Sisters". I think this will become a tradition in the Rogers Ward. I was lucky that my neighbor's husband volunteered to watch my kids so that I could make it, since it was just a couple of days after Nathan got home from the hospital. I sure missed having him there to cheer me on. Well, maybe next year.
