Our darling daughter Audrey had a birthday in February. She decided that for her birthday party she wanted to have an American Girl theme. We had a party game based on the Kit Kittredge doll and decided to use it. The girls all dressed up to play a part in the "mystery" and we had a great time solving it together. There was a lot of giggling and screaming and in the end they just wanted to play hide and go seek in the basement. Everyone had a great time and it was nice to see Audrey so excited for something. She has had a very hard year at her new school and we haven't seen here smile around her much lately.
