Christmas 2012

We were able to continue our tradition of going out and cutting a fresh Christmas tree from the farm this year.  We had a great time picking it out, dragging it to the baler, and carrying it home on our new van. I forgot to mention we traded in the old "Silver Bullet" for a brand new Honda Odyssey in October.  We put the live tree in the formal living room and decorate it with homemade ornaments.  Then we put the tall fake tree in the family room and decorate it with shiny store bought ornaments.  Everyone seems to love the way the 2 trees light up the house and make it feel so cozy and full of Christmas spirit.  Christmas Eve was at the Husted's house and the cousins did the whole Nativity play in costumes and everything.  It was so fun to watch!  Some memorable presents this year were Lila's roller coaster, Tyler and Audrey's stilts, Samantha's ipod nano, giant stuffed animals, a playstation 3, and a beautiful sapphire ring and bracelet from Daddy to Mommy.
