Our baby Lila Grace was blessed on Sunday, September 5th, 2010. What a special day! We had Nathan's parents and his two brothers Jed and Andrew fly in from Utah for the event. My parents and two of my sisters and their families were also able to attend. We sure missed the rest of our siblings and grandparents that weren't able to be there. It always seems like these kinds of days are whirlwinds and I have a hard time remembering details. But when Nathan, my dad, my father-in-law, Uncle Jed, Uncle Andy, Uncle Michael and Uncle Doug all stood up in sacrament meeting to give Lila her blessing, I felt so touched. What a blessing for this baby to be born into a family with the gospel and all this priesthood support! I felt so grateful to Heavenly Father for sending this sweet spirit into our home. I felt confident that having this healthy, happy baby was kind of God's way of blessing us after some pretty tough trials. I am so grateful for goodly parents and supportive grandparents and siblings. What a blessing to be part of an eternal family!
