The Pumpkin Patch

At this time of year we usually like to take a little trip to the pumpkin patch. I remember last year almost getting lost trying to find a little farm in Arkansas. This year we went to Shaw Farms in Cincinnati with some members of our extended family. Popi and Nana were there, as well as Aunt Jo and Aunt Heather with their families. The cousins had a great time running around outside. It has been a very hot and dry summer here and I am craving fall weather. It was still a little bit warm while we were at the pumpkin farm, but we had a good time anyway. I told Nathan that the big pumpkin we bought for carving is my all time favorite. It is tall and skinny with a really great stem. I'll add photos of it later this month when we carve it. Happy Fall!
