Boy Scout Camp

Tyler had the opportunity to go to Boy Scout Camp as an 11 yr old this summer. He didn't spend the night but went up all day for one week. Let me tell you it is exhausting and I didn't even go! They do so much and it is all outside in the heat and humidity. Tyler had a great time and learned a lot. The families were invited up for the evening on the last day and we took some fun photos. The girls liked watching the boys dressed up like indians sing and dance. They were very disappointed that they couldn't go camping there after seeing the facility. It reminded me of the boy scout camp that we used to go to as a family when I was young. They opened it up to families for part of the summer. I learned to shoot a rifle, ride a horse, and sail a little sailboat there. What fun memories!
